GATE (Gifted and Talented Education)

Parkview School is a WASC-accredited, college preparatory public school in the award winning Placentia Yorba Linda Unified School District. We are a community of adventurous learners who team together for awesome end results. Students enrolled at Parkview enjoy a wide variety of personalized learning opportunities, including field trips, workshops, and performing arts. We meet the needs of all students including actors, junior athletes, chronically ill, GATE, homeschoolers and more.

 

The individualization of student learning is based on California State Content Standards. Curriculum differentiation may include curriculum compacting, enrichment, acceleration, and individual project opportunities. Depth and complexity is encouraged in all academic areas.

 

GATE-identified and high-achieving students are encouraged to participate in on-site classes and enrichment activities based on their interests.
